3 Key Questions

People in darkness often struggle with questions of origin, purpose, and destiny. These are fundamental questions that shape how we live and what we believe.

Three key questions:

1. “Where am I from?”

People who live in darkness often feel disconnected from their origins. They may wonder, “Where did I come from? What is the source of my life?” In the light of Jesus, the answer becomes clear: You were created by God, in His image, with a unique purpose. As the Bible tells us in Genesis 1:27, “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”

When you accept the Light of Jesus into your life, you begin to understand that you are not a random accident. You are loved and designed by a Creator who knows you intimately.

2. “Why am I here?” (Purpose in life)

In darkness, people often wander, unsure of their purpose. They may ask, “What is the meaning of life? Why am I here?”

The light of Jesus gives us a clear answer: Your purpose is to love God, love others, and live out the unique plan He has for you. In Matthew 22:37-39, Jesus says, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…Love your neighbour as yourself.”

Through Christ, you find that your life has purpose, that you’re not here by accident, but for a reason—to make a difference in the world and reflect God’s love to others.

3. “Where am I going?” (Future after death)

Many people live in fear or uncertainty about the future. “What happens after I die?” they wonder. The darkness can leave them unsure of what lies beyond this life. Jesus, the Light, offers the assurance of eternal life with God. In John 14:2-3, He promises, “My Father’s house has many rooms…I am going there to prepare a place for you…I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

Through Jesus, the darkness of uncertainty is replaced with the light of hope. When you follow Him, you can know that your future is secure, and that death is not the end, but the beginning of eternal life with God.

Summary:

When people walk in darkness, they are often unsure of where they come from, why they are here, and where they are going. But when they embrace Jesus, the Light of the world, they find clarity:

  • You are created by God, in His image.
  • You are here to love God and others, fulfilling His purpose for you.
  • Your future is secure in Him, with the promise of eternal life.

Why not open your heart and welcome Jesus into your life for a new beginning? Through Him, you’ll find the truth, and experience peace, joy, and love like never before.
